People and community first

CSR.

SIPA was founded in Boudouaou and has operated there for over 30 years. That history is not incidental — it shapes how we think about our responsibility to the people who work here, the community around us, and the clients and partners who trust us. Our CSR policy formalises what has always been part of how we operate.

01

Ethical employment

Every employee at SIPA holds a formal employment contract with clearly defined terms. Pay is structured fairly across all roles. Working hours comply with Algerian labour law, and overtime is managed transparently. We do not employ individuals below the legal working age under any circumstances.

02

Health and safety

Production involves presses, cutting equipment, and chemicals that require strict safety protocols. We conduct formal health and safety audits quarterly. Personal protective equipment is provided and its use is mandatory in defined production zones. Incident and near-miss reporting is encouraged and reviewed at management level without blame.

03

Staff development

We invest in the skills of our people. Press operators, pre-press technicians, and quality inspectors receive structured training when onboarded and ongoing development throughout their careers. We track training hours per employee annually and set targets for improvement. Internal promotion is our default approach to filling senior production roles.

04

Local community

As one of the larger employers in the Boudouaou industrial zone, we take our role in the local economy seriously. We give preference to local suppliers and service providers where quality and reliability are comparable. We participate in the regional business community and support local employment initiatives where we can.

05

Supply chain transparency

We expect our suppliers to operate to ethical and legal standards equivalent to our own. Key suppliers are reviewed not only for quality and commercial performance but for their employment and environmental practices. We will not knowingly maintain commercial relationships with suppliers found to be in serious breach of labour or environmental standards.

SIPA's longevity is proof that responsible business and commercial success are not in tension. We believe that how you treat your people and your community is inseparable from the quality of what you produce.
